Bulla Gastrobar in Doral offers a vibrant Spanish tapas experience with a modern twist. The food was absolutely delicious—beautifully presented and full of bold, authentic flavors. We sampled a variety of small plates, and each one was a hit. The albóndigas (pork and beef meatballs) were rich and comforting, while the patatas bravas delivered the perfect balance of crispy texture and spicy, creamy sauces. The croquetas de jamón paired nicely with the fig jelly, offering a sweet and savory bite. We also enjoyed the pulpo a la parrilla, where the grilled octopus was tender and elevated by the corn purée and salsa criolla.

Other standouts included the pimientos de padrón, pan con tomate, jamón serrano, and tetilla cheese—all fresh and packed with flavor. The flank steak topped with mushroom foam and house-made potato chips was a unique and satisfying entrée.

While the food and bar service were great, the table service left a bit to be desired. Our waitress struggled with English, which made communication a little challenging, and overall service felt a bit average. That said, the quality of the food more than made up for it, and we would definitely return.

Rao’s Miami Beach offers a fabulous atmosphere, complemented by a knowledgeable waiter and good service. The dining experience started strong with terrific appetizers, including their signature meatballs and a refreshing seafood salad packed with lobster, calamari, shrimp, crabmeat, and red bell peppers, all dressed in a zesty citronette.

The main courses were a bit of a mixed experience. While the veal parmesan and lobster Fra Diavolo were fair, the peas with prosciutto stood out as excellent. The Fiocchetti—beggar’s purse ravioli filled with Bartlett pears, ricotta, brown butter, sage, and dried cranberries—offered an interesting balance of flavors but didn’t quite elevate the meal.

Desserts closed things on a high note, with the tiramisu and affogato both being very good. Overall, despite some inconsistencies in the main dishes, the welcoming atmosphere and strong highlights make Rao’s worth a return visit to explore more of the menu.

Had a fantastic lunch at the Rustic Inn in Fort Lauderdale! We sat outside with a lovely water view — the perfect casual setting to relax and enjoy the Florida vibes. Service was excellent — friendly, attentive, and quick.

We tried a variety of dishes, starting with fried alligator and fried frog legs, both crispy and flavorful. The clam chowder was rich and creamy, a great starter. The highlight was definitely the Crab Sampler, which included their World Famous Garlic Crab Clusters, Dungeness Garlic Crab Clusters, and Alaska Queen Crab Legs — all served with perfectly seasoned parsley buttered potatoes. The garlic flavor was bold and delicious without overpowering the sweet, tender crab meat.

Whether you’re in the mood for a laid-back lunch or a casual dinner by the water, this place is a winner. We’ll definitely be back!

Situated right on the water, the restaurant provides guests with a serene and picturesque setting, where they can enjoy their meals while watching boats drift by and feeling the gentle breeze. The atmosphere is laid-back yet vibrant, with tropical décor, and nautical touches that create a relaxed, island-inspired vibe.

The highlight of Tiki Tiki is its exceptional service. The staff are attentive, friendly, and genuinely care about making your experience special. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm smiles and a sense of hospitality that makes you feel right at home. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, offering insightful recommendations and ensuring that every need is met without being intrusive. It really was the perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness, making sure our dining experience was seamless and enjoyable.

The menu at Tiki Tiki features a variety of seafood dishes, tropical-inspired cocktails, and fresh, flavorful offerings that capture the essence of the waterfront location. Whether you’re enjoying a refreshing seafood platter, a creative cocktail, or a delightful dessert, the food was served with care and attention to detail.

We had an absolutely terrific meal at Tiki Tiki that was nothing short of delicious. To start, we dove into the Peel and Eat Shrimp, which were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. Each shrimp was juicy and packed with flavor, and they came served in a sauce that perfectly complemented their natural sweetness.

Next, we indulged in Fresh Blue Point Oysters, which were incredibly fresh and briny with just the right amount of sea flavor. Served chilled on the half shell, these oysters were a true treat, offering that delightful combination of salty and sweet with a crisp bite.

For the main course, we had the Mahi Mahi Sandwich and Grouper Tacos—both dishes were incredible! The Mahi Mahi Sandwich featured a perfectly grilled fillet with a light, flaky texture and a touch of smokiness. It was topped with fresh greens, onions and tomatoes and a tangy sauce that elevated the flavors. The Grouper Tacos were also fantastic, with tender, flaky grouper nestled inside soft tortillas, complemented by a zesty slaw and fresh salsa. The tacos were bursting with flavor, and each bite was an explosion of freshness.

To finish off the meal on a sweet note, we couldn’t resist the Fudgy Chocolate Cake. This dessert was decadently rich and incredibly moist, with a dense, fudgy texture that melted in our mouths. The hazelnut ganache, Nutella crunchies and a scoop of vanilla ice cream made the desert that much better. It was the perfect way to cap off such a flavorful and satisfying meal.

Each dish was prepared with care and the freshness of the ingredients really stood out. The service was impeccable throughout, and it truly made the experience memorable from start to finish. Overall, Tiki Tiki offers a wonderful combination of stunning waterfront views, great food, and outstanding service, making it the ideal spot for a relaxing meal.

Dining at Lobster Bar Sea Grille is an elevated experience from start to finish. The service was impeccable—attentive without being overbearing, with a staff that made us feel both welcome and well taken care of. The drinks were expertly crafted, setting the tone for a luxurious meal ahead.

We began with a stunning lineup of starters: the Ahi Tuna Tartare was fresh and vibrant, while the Lobster Morsels—lightly fried and served with a Greek honey mustard aioli—were indulgent and perfectly crispy. The East Coast Oysters were impeccably shucked and briny, delivering that classic ocean-kissed flavor.

For entrées, the spotlight was on seafood and it didn’t disappoint. The Twin South African Cold Water Lobster Tails were sweet and tender, a true standout. The Surf & Turf paired a beautifully cooked filet mignon with a succulent lobster tail, and the Whole Maine Lobster was a showstopper in both presentation and taste.

Sides were far from an afterthought. The Glazed Brussels Sprouts with Bacon brought a rich, smoky crunch; the Baked Potato, loaded with butter and sour cream, was classic comfort done right; and the Broccolini, sautéed in garlic, olive oil, and red pepper flakes, added a welcome bite of heat.

To cap off the night, the Profiteroles—filled with vanilla bean ice cream, topped with sugar-roasted almonds, and drizzled in warm white and dark chocolate sauces—were an unforgettable finale.

A thoroughly exceptional dining experience in every way—flavors, service, and ambiance all came together for a night to remember.

Bellagamba Italian Restaurant in Fort Lauderdale is a charming, family-owned gem that brings warmth, authenticity, and a laid-back Italian dining experience to the area. Operated by two families, the restaurant radiates a welcoming, homey vibe from the moment you walk in. You’re likely to be greeted with a genuine smile by the wife of one of the owners, making you feel instantly at home.

The hospitality continues throughout the meal—our waiter was actually one of the owners himself. He was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, eager to share details about the menu and ensure we had a great experience.

What We Ordered:

  • Bruschetta Gorgonzola: Grilled artisan Italian bread with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, sea salt, and black pepper. Topped with creamy sheep’s milk Gorgonzola, sweet fig marmalade, and crunchy walnuts—this dish was a standout.
  • Duo di Polpette (Meatballs): Angus beef meatballs bathed in a rich, homemade tomato sauce and finished with Parmesan cheese. Comforting and flavorful.
  • Spaghetti Carbonara: Made the traditional way with a blend of egg yolk, Pecorino Romano, Guanciale, and a healthy hit of black pepper. Rich and indulgent.
  • Spaghetti Pomodoro & Basil: A simple, classic dish done with San Marzano tomatoes, offering that pure, tangy-sweet tomato flavor.

The atmosphere is cozy and casual, perfect for a relaxed meal with family or friends. The restaurant features a solid bar selection and was bustling during our visit, a good sign of its popularity. We chose to sit outside with a view of the street, which added to the laid-back charm.

While the appetizers were excellent and clearly crafted with care, the main courses leaned more toward average. Still, the overall experience—from the genuine hospitality to the cozy ambiance—makes Bellagamba a spot worth revisiting, especially when you’re craving a no-frills, comforting Italian meal.
