Daniel’s Steak & Chop is an upscale steakhouse located in the heart of Palm Beach, Aruba, just steps away from the island’s main resorts and vibrant nightlife. Known for its elegant yet relaxed atmosphere, it appears as a favorite among visitors seeking a classic fine-dining steak experience on the island.
The restaurant features both indoor and outdoor seating, giving guests the choice between a comfortable, air-conditioned dining room or a breezy outdoor terrace. Inside, the décor combines modern sophistication with traditional steakhouse charm—dark wood accents, soft ambient lighting, and a stylish yet inviting setting that feels perfect for a romantic dinner or a family meal alike.
Daniel’s is renowned for its high quality meats, grilled over charcoal. Signature cuts include tender filet mignon, flavorful ribeye, tomahawk, and porterhouse steaks. The menu also features fresh seafood dishes, vibrant salads, and classic steakhouse sides such as truffle mac and cheese, creamed spinach, and roasted vegetables.
We started the evening with a few drinks from their extensive cocktail and wine selection, followed by the classic escargot, which was rich and delicious. The Tuna Tartare, made with Bluefin tuna, avocado, cilantro, red onion, olive oil, pine nuts, and banana chips, was exceptionally fresh and beautifully balanced. For our main course, we shared a Porterhouse steak, perfectly cooked and served with mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, and two sauces—peppercorn and truffle butter—that elevated the meal.
The open kitchen adds a dynamic touch, allowing guests to see the chefs in action as the dishes are prepared. The family-friendly atmosphere makes it suitable for all occasions, from intimate dinners to group gatherings.
While the food and overall ambiance were excellent, the service was slightly inconsistent during our visit—our waiter disappeared for stretches of time, which was noticeable given the otherwise polished setting. Still, the staff remained courteous and accommodating throughout the evening.
In the end, Daniel’s Steak & Chop delivered a satisfying dining experience. With its exceptional steaks, stylish ambiance, and impressive drink selection, it remains one of our top choices for steak. We will definitely return.
