Oceana Restaurant & Bistro in St. Thomas is widely regarded as one of the island’s most iconic dining destinations, and it’s easy to see why. Overlooking the brilliant aqua waters of Baye de Grigri, the restaurant offers a truly spectacular setting. Most tables are situated in an open-air dining room, providing unobstructed views of the sea, passing sailboats, and even seaplanes coming in to land. As evening falls, guests are treated to breathtaking sunsets followed by the dramatic rise of a full moon, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.
Seafood is the star of the menu, complemented by a well-curated wine list designed to balance refinement with versatility and pair beautifully with the dishes offered. Service was outstanding—both the waitress and the restaurant manager were fantastic, checking in frequently without being intrusive. Food and drinks arrived promptly, adding to the smooth, relaxed flow of the evening.
