Opus Ocean & Grill offers a romantic and welcoming atmosphere, blending stylish décor with a family-friendly vibe. Both the indoor and outdoor seating areas feel inviting and comfortable.
Service is attentive and personalized, and the drinks are excellent—thoughtfully crafted cocktails paired with a strong wine selection. Presentation of the dishes is elegant, and everything tasted fresh.
For starters, the Escargot—sautéed in garlic butter and lime—was incredibly flavorful. We practically went through a loaf of bread soaking up the sauce. The Grilled Octopus was another standout, served with hummus, grilled peppers, kalamata olives, and pickled onions for a beautifully balanced and tasty dish.
For mains, the Catch of the Day—a red snapper with lemon sauce—was delicious and came with seasonal grilled vegetables, mashed potatoes, mango chutney, and a touch of creole sauce. The Create-Your-Own Pasta option was also impressive; we chose bucatini with shrimp in a spicy arrabbiata sauce. While the pasta leaned a bit sweet rather than spicy and was slightly overcooked, it was still full of flavor.
To end the meal, the homemade carrot cake with cream cheese frosting was outstanding—a sweet, satisfying finale.
Overall, the food was very good, the service spot-on, and the atmosphere was terrific. We’ll definitely be returning to Opus Ocean & Grill on future visits to Aruba.
