Via Sforza Trattoria, established in 1992, has been serving guests with authentic Italian cuisine and warm hospitality for over three decades. Located in a charming stone building reminiscent of a Tuscan farmhouse, the restaurant exudes the inviting spirit of old Italy. Inside, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, while the outdoor seating offers a lovely option during warmer months.

The menu is extensive, featuring a wide range of traditional Italian dishes, including their signature brick-oven pizzas. There’s also a solid selection of wines and classic cocktails to complement the food. Service is very good—our waitress was friendly, attentive, and highly knowledgeable about the menu, providing excellent recommendations throughout the evening.

We began with drinks that were well-prepared and flavorful, setting a pleasant tone for the meal. For appetizers, we enjoyed the Clams Casino—baked clams with pancetta—rich and perfectly seasoned. The Calamari & Gamberi, featuring grilled marinated shrimp and calamari over baby arugula, offered a fresh and lightly smoky flavor combination. The Escarole & Beans, with sautéed escarole and creamy cannellini beans, was a comforting and traditional touch.

For our entrées, the Veal Chop Famosa stood out as a house favorite—tender, breaded, and pounded veal topped with a vibrant tomato sauce and melted mozzarella cheese, beautifully executed. The Spaghetti Amatriciana, made with fresh spaghetti, caramelized onions, and pancetta in a light tomato sauce, was simple and full of flavor, perfectly showcasing the balance and depth of classic Italian cooking.

Overall, Via Sforza Trattoria offers a true taste of Italy in a setting that’s both rustic and elegant. With its delicious food, excellent service, and warm, Tuscan-inspired ambiance, it remains a beloved dining destination for those seeking an authentic Italian experience.
