Zucchini is a restaurant in Aruba that blends Italian and Greek influences, offering a menu full of Mediterranean flavors. The food is delicious overall, with a mix of classic and creative dishes.
The interior is modern and pleasant, though it lacks some of the coziness or charm you might expect. A unique touch is the glass tanks built into the walls, encasing plants, rocks, and coral—an interesting design feature. The space is ample, with two separate dining rooms that provide plenty of room for guests.
Service was good—attentive and efficient.
For appetizers, we tried the Spicy Veal Meatballs, which were tasty, and the Caprese Bufala Tomato Salad, which was excellent, highlighted by fresh pesto dressing, balsamic reduction, grilled sweet peppers, and olives. For mains, the Penne Bolognese Arrabbiata came with homemade bolognese sauce that was flavorful, though the pasta itself was overcooked. The Veal Marsala, served with mushrooms in a sweet marsala wine sauce alongside penne pasta with aglio e olio, was very good and well prepared.
Overall, Zucchini delivers flavorful Italian and Mediterranean dishes in a comfortable setting with solid service, even if the ambiance feels a bit more modern than cozy. We would definitely return to this restaurant.
