De Tokio A Lima is a stylish, cozy restaurant in Mallorca that brings together Japanese and Mediterranean cuisines with creative Latin influences. The restaurant has a great vibe, an interesting menu, and a beautiful atmosphere. We sat on the terrace, which was the perfect setting to relax and enjoy the evening.

The menu is especially appealing because it offers something for everyone—from adventurous foodies looking for creative combinations to diners who prefer more familiar flavors. The staff’s suggestions for appetizers and main courses were excellent, and the wine selection is extensive, well-curated, and offers something for virtually every taste.

We started with a Taco de bogavante con salsa de pimiento asado y criolla de tomate-chipotle—lobster taco with roasted pepper sauce and tomato-chipotle criolla—which was a delicious way to begin. The buñuelos de langostinos con salsa de naranja, rocoto y lima, or shrimp fritters with orange, rocoto, and lime, were another standout.

The trilogía de niguiris was particularly creative: six pieces featuring scallop ceviche with leche de tigre, Iberian pork with pickled mango, and quail egg with truffle. We also enjoyed the sashimi de presa ibérica, Iberian pork sashimi served with sweet-and-sour mango sauce and sesame—a unique and memorable dish.

For the main courses, the cerdo ibérico glaseado con salsa agridulce y ensalada de papaya—glazed Iberian pork with sweet-and-sour sauce and papaya salad—was flavorful and beautifully presented. The grilled scallops with seasonal vegetables and ají amarillo sauce were excellent, while the creamy rice with red shrimp, cuttlefish, and vegetables was rich, comforting, and full of flavor.

The beef sirloin tataki with sautéed potatoes, wild asparagus, red onion, and orange tartar sauce was another highlight, combining perfectly cooked beef with a creative citrus element.

Overall, De Tokio A Lima is one of the restaurants we really enjoyed during our time in Mallorca. The food was delicious, the presentation was impeccable, and the environment was incredibly cozy and inviting. Service was good, although not quite at the same level as the food and atmosphere.

What makes this restaurant especially appealing is its versatility. Foodies will appreciate the creativity and unusual combinations, while less adventurous diners will still find plenty to enjoy. The quality of the ingredients, presentation, atmosphere, and variety of the menu make it a restaurant worth including in your Mallorca itinerary, even if you’re traveling on a tighter budget.

We loved both the food and the environment and would definitely return.
